We created a brand identity rooted in nature, with hand-drawn illustrations of native poppies and redwood trees, alongside the legendary San Francisco dogs, Bummer and Lazarus, who add a layer of local folklore. The design balances storytelling with elegance, evoking a deep sense of place while feeling entirely fresh.

These illustrations appear on the menu and website, tying the visual identity to the cocktail experience. Inspired by the bounty of California and flavored with a global palette of herbs and spices, Heartwood’s branding reflects a vibrant intersection of nature, culture, and craft.
